NCK Board of Directors is pleased to announce that for the 2020 racing season beginning at Sonoma in Nov. that NCK will use the rules from the 2018 IKF Rule Book until further notice.  Any changes to our rules will be posted on the NCK website and Face Book and emailed to current NCK members

Changes that will go in to effect for the 2020 season
Change to ENGINE RODS- “Rods must maintain stock length manufacture open”
Change to FUEL- “Leaded fuel only in IC/E no oxygenated fuels allowed
All other rules from the 2018 IKF rule book will remain the same for IC/E
SUPER ICE & FE will remain unchanged
Helmets SNELL M-10 are good thru 2020
Minimum driving age at certain tracks
Thunderhill 14
Sonoma 16
Laguna Seca 18

One setback in recent years has been the demise of the IKF Structure which held Road Racing clubs in Union. A return to operate under the class structure, rules and insurance has seemed impossible but efforts continued this summer with hopefully a breakthrough commercial agreement. It’s premature to confirm but it looks like Tom Kutscher (SKUSA/IKF) with NCK and our neighbor clubs up North have found common ground for 2020. NCK is working to be reunited with IKF by Sonoma, if you want a progress update or details call our Board Member Dean Martin 424 6444849.
